本片由張徹、鮑學禮及午馬三位導演聯合執導，倪匡編劇，影帝狄龍及姜大衛主演，講述大海盜張保仔生平事跡。清廷水師提督派遣少年將領胡義（姜大衛），肩任偵查盜首匿跡所在之責，海上巨寇鄭乙手下四大天王之一張保仔（狄龍）終被胡義窺破行藏。二雄相遇，各施絕招，俱有惺惺相惜之意；卒之張憑機警從容外遁……。This popular animated television cartoon featured two Stone Age families, the Flintstones and their neighbors, the Rubbles. Much of the humor was based on its comic portrayals of modern conveniences, reinterpreted using Stone Age 'technology.' Most notably were their cars, complete with absence of floorboards to allow them to be 'foot-powered.'。
